The game attempts to include as many different forms of four-wheeled racing in one game, as well as injecting each with a high degree of realism. The game has over 70 licensed cars and 80 real tracks, as well as 35 different disciplines of racing. The World Tour mode has the player starting a racing career and, with the help of a Scottish manager, attempting to gain renown and acceptance into more famous racing events.

There are 3D rendered cutscenes shown from the player's point-of-view, which move the story along and, while not as detailed as its predecessor, gives a good idea of the back scenes of a professional racer's life aside from just the racing. TOCA Race Driver 3 provides two different driving models, Simulation and Pro-Simulation. TOCA games are always very playable but also ruthlessly accurate. The latter is recommended for gamers with analog steering wheels only. Simulation is intended for gamers without wheels, or who want an easier experience. We need brighter and more powerful headlights! Last, there should be an option for tires for different road conditions.This mode is also noticeably easier than the Simulation mode from TOCA Race Driver 2. Also, when racing in the dark/rain, it is very difficult to see. Also, in the accessories section, you should be aloud to change the taillights as well as the head lights. You should be able to change the center section and go up and down as well. How about racing in San Fran Sisco? FLorida? Spain? and other exotic cities with lots of fun alternate routs? One complaint I have about the Design Studio, is that you can only adjust the front and rear forward and back. My nephew and I thought it was funny to take a different route in one of the Monaco tracks and be able to smash through the car-dealerships show room and shatter all the glass! Need to add more and make this a series. Love the Monaco tracks, would love to open the hole thing instead of just the short and long. The enemies seem to get more and more brutal as you go on. This racing game never falls short of delivering the thrills of racing a V8-powered speed-machine. The Turin race is a pain in the but to try and win. V8 Supercars 3 is an action packed PlayStation 2 video game with over 100 different individual championships on offer. Have already won the first two additions, working on getting the rest.
